If the possibility of suffering is the foundation upon which is built the philosophy of so-called "merciful" abortion and euthanasia, then not one of us is safe from those wielding that bloody sword. Even those wielding it must one day face another wielding it in their direction. Cherry Bieber

February 1997 - Quote from Mother Teresa at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington attended by the President and the First Lady - "What is taking place in America is a war against the child. And if we accept that the mother can kill her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?"

KJV Psalm 94:16-23 "Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. When I said, 'My foot slippeth;' Thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. In the multitude of my thoughts within me Thy comforts delight my soul. Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with Thee, which frameth mischief by a law? They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge. And He shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off."

"We do not stand any taller nor is there any work we do that is any greater than when we stand strong for the unborn child." Alabama State Senator Greg Reed

Post Election Thoughts

Had the individual of my choice won the presidential election, I would not have felt it necessary to gloat in the face of those whose choice was different from mine. Not so with those who were pleased with the outcome of the election.  Via text message, email, and telephone it seemed a no holds barred for them to come crawling out of the woodwork to inform myself and others (as if we didn’t already know) who had won the election.  This is rather belligerent and intolerant behavior coming from individuals who often (and loudly!) proclaim to be loving and tolerant!  It is clear that their love and tolerance goes only so far as the circumference of those within their own camp. I wish I could say I am surprised by the remarks made by those who felt the need to gloat, but I can't.  It simply never is enough for them to get their way.  I would have been pleasantly surprised and would have even considered them to have matured some had they abstained from such behavior.

The sad truth is that belligerent intolerance can be expected of those who would elect a president who places no value on human life at its most vulnerable stage and who believes that murder of the unborn is simply a matter of choice.  I am saddened that he and his supporters don't understand the truth of Psalm 139 as it applies to every single human being from conception on.

Yes, change has come and will continue to come to America until the nation just down right glows with all that belligerent intolerant “love and tolerance!”  In the midst of their sense of victory, the Will of God is not undone or even altered one tiny bit.  He never changes.  We can count on His Word.  He has allowed this election to turn out as it has for His purpose.  All glory and honor and praise belong to Him alone.
